The Journey Rocks!!

It's the day after Christmas and I am so excited! We still have one week to go on our Advent Conspiracy (we extended it one week b/c we had to cancel church on the 16th b/c of bad weather) and we have already collected over $3,500 for the Rwanda Clean Water Fund!! That means an entire village of 175 people will have access to clean water with the well this money will go to build. I love it when people come together for a common cause and do great things for those in need! I just feel like God is doing something significant in the lives of folks at The Journey. I just want to say thank you for being open and receptive to what God is doing in your lives and in our collective life. I know God will continue to work in us and among us as the new year begins. I am off to Houston for the rest of the week to officiate the wedding of a college buddy of mine. It will be great to reconnect with old friends, but I will miss you all at The Journey on Sunday. Until next time...

Yo Dan!
We are at Panera working on the website and I thought I would blog you.

So who will win in New Hampshire? My prediction is Obama and McCain.

By the way, are the new member classes going to clash with the SuperBowl? Dale wants to know.

Okay....have to go....need to ask Nick and Rob some difficult questions about communications.

I have an interview tomorrow in Monticello, IN.......I hope it stops raining....nothing like a bad hair day for an interview. LOL

Hi Dan ... Just wanted to let you know that I stopped in to read your blog ... one of the most difficult things I have found with bloging is that "peepers" don't necessarily post comments even if they are enjoying what you write.

I've just recently cleaned out all the old postings in my blog and named it "Starting over ..." at http://robranson.blogspot.com During this past year I have initiated so many changes that I thought it might be a good idea to journal ... so far, I haven't finished catching up on my assignments to write for fun ;-) but I will soon!!!

Sarah Buffie has a blog where she is recounting her adventures in Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer ... you can find it at http://sclazeon.blogspot.com

Daniel-

Hey man whats up? I'm pretty blogging ignorant, so I don't really know what I'm doing.

I think your next blog should be a superbowl breakdown and how Eli Manning will singl handedly save the league.
